Mr. Krishnan Subramaniam, FICS
Head of Professional Development - Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers
 

Krishnan is a seasoned professional in the areas of Supply Chain, Logistics, and Commercial Shipping.

 

He heads the Logistics at Petrochem Middle East, Dubai. He is the past President of the Middle East branch of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers U.K. and is a member of the Global Controlling Council and Executive Council of the ICS and a member of the ICS Global Membership Committee.

 

Krishnan’s career spanning 33 years includes Bharat Petroleum Corporation, India, Shell Petroleum in Dubai and Singapore, Aurora Tankers / IMC Group, Singapore, and Fusion Group of companies in Dubai and India.  

 

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (FICS) U.K., a trainer for ICS, NAFL Dubai, and Dubai Shipping Agents Association (DSAA), and has been an Adjunct Faculty at S.P.Jain School of Global Management, Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Dubai and NMIMS, Mumbai.

Janani Yagnamurthy is a professional in data analytics and digitalization, holding various positions within the Marcura Group. Her central focus is on employing data-driven strategies to attract potential clients and enhance existing customer lifetime value.

She earned her Master's degree in Financial Management from the University of Central Lancashire in Preston, United Kingdom, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (FICS) in the UK. Janani was the top performer in the Middle East for dry cargo chartering and Ports & Terminal Management. Janani is deeply committed to promoting maritime education, emphasizing its importance to aspiring students and supporting the professional development of her peers.
